Raw diamond is also referred to as rough diamond are diamond rocks that has not been cut & polished. Rough diamonds come in natural shapes which are mostly octahedrons (have eight side bi-pyramid) or cubic triangular. Raw diamond can vary in color, shape, weight, and clarity. Rough diamonds are extracted from mines in natural form so it can have usually less color, sparkle, luster compared to polished diamonds.
Raw diamonds prices are lowered as compared to cut & polished diamonds because cutting diamond is an expensive process as this process alone determine brilliance with which a diamond shines. People know very well that raw diamond are found in various countries like South Africa, Brazil, India, and some other countries.
